June 2025: Received 2025 Oklahoma Online Learning Excellence Award in Accessibility at Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSHRE) meeting

PRESENTATIONS & WEBINARS

HOW-TO: MEDIA (OKLIS STATE SESSION)
I presented on how to make accessible media as part of the OKLIS session on "Preparing for the ADA Compliance Deadline." This session was sponsored by the Oklahoma State Regents of Higher Education, and faculty and staff across the state were able to receive a digital badge for participation.

INTEGRATING QUALITY STANDARDS IN AN ACCESSIBLE AND SUSTAINABLE COURSE TEMPLATE (BAYLOR)
I co-presented regarding my offices' new revised online course template for Canvas, called "template 3.0." This template revision involved increased accessibility, development of just-in-time guides for faculty, and explicit alignment with Quality Matters specific review standards.

OU ONLINE CONFERENCE 2022
During the second annual OU Online Conference at the University of Oklahoma, I presented in a breakout session regarding Universal Design for Learning and Accessibility for online courses. Attendees included program directors, faculty members, and other individuals involved in online learning.

ODL EMERGENCY REMOTE TEACHING WEBINAR SERIES (2020)
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Oklahoma's Office of Digital Learning offered a webinar series for the emergency shift to online teaching. My webinar focused on student-centered learning, accessibility, usability, and quality assurance.
